I was two days away from taking Charlie to surgery when a good friend recommended I look into CARE Animal Rehab. I didn’t want to delay putting an end to his pain but I was worried about the really violent nature of the surgery he was about to undergo. From minute one I was so impressed with the knowledge, care and attention to detail that everyone at CARE displayed. They welcomed Charlie into the family right away and went to work trying to get him comfortable again. They were very clear about what the next 6 to 8 weeks were going to look like and they gave me a precise play by play every step of the way. I felt like through the rehab process they were always honest with me and helped me to really understand what Charlie was going through and how I might help him along. Charlie’s injured knee is something he will be dealing with his whole life but I know now how to help him to recover from increased pain and how to better read the signs that he is pushing himself too far. I am so appreciative of the kindness and attention of everyone at CARE and will not hesitate to run to them for advise and wisdom as long as Charlie is in my life.
