“As long as our drives were, our experience at CARE made it all worth it. P-chan started with significant spinal pain and luxating patellas, making simple things like getting up and walking very difficult. She couldn’t enjoy running freely at the dog park or beach anymore, and cried going up and down a couple stairs to the yard. We even noticed that she couldn’t sit straight like she had before.
Within a couple weeks of starting at CARE, we’d seen great improvement, and she loved going for hydrotherapy and PT exercises. At her final evaluation, she’d gained good muscle bulk with more balance to her stand and gait, and more importantly, she is pain-free off medications, and runs as if nothing had ever happened. Our primary vet was doubtful about us heading out so far for these visits, but I plan on bringing P-chan in soon to show her what a difference CARE’s coordinated team approach can make.”
